    Slow Download on 5ghz Connection


    So I have an AC1200 DB Belkin router. It has a 2.4ghz connection and a 5ghz connection. Of course, my Xbox is connected to the 5ghz for optimal gaming, but when I'm trying to download games, it's only doing 2 Mb/s. I've checked my download speed in my network
    statistics and it's only .93mbps. Please help

    Can't get smartglass to connect

    I figured it out for me and hopefully it will help someone else. It was 2 things. One I had the old IOS app, downloaded the new one. Two my wireless network beams a 2.4 GHZ and 5GHZ channel. My phone was on the 2.4 and the Xbox was connected to the 5GHZ channel. I connected my phone to the 5GHZ channel wifi and now all is bueno.

    It's like this it connects to the 5Ghz so probably they did test this but after 5 min it closes the connection and all download is stopped and the xbox freezes. This is the same with cable but on the 2.4Ghz it works good but the 2.4Ghz is slower and
    I would love to run games in 5Ghz or with cable.

    I have tested with cable directly from my router. And I have my computer on the 5Ghz even further away from the router and it never drops the connection.

    Wireless N 5 GHz connection issues

    Same thing here, I have a Xbox Slim with latest updated firmware which connects to 2.4Ghz N on Cisco E4200 with latest firmware - no problems (except when streaming HDTV recordings and Live streams), I wanted 5Ghz N connection (makes streaming HDTV a ease)
    - I tested a WET610N on 5GHZ N with and without security not one hiccup, but it was not mines, so I bought The Black Xbox360 N adapter with the 2 antennas. This setup is actually worse, I can only connect on G 2.4GHz or A 5GHz which all are extremely slow
    ..It cannot and will not connect to N on 5GHZ or 2.4GHZ, It can see it but cannot connect with or without security. Tons of people on Google with this problem, but NO FIX...

    Well, I did as you suggested, and it didn't work. Not only that, but it only connected on the 2.4GHz band, and wouldn't even recognize the 5GHz band. The whole reason I have the console wired to the router is to avoid speed and connection issues from a
    b or g band being too slow.
