    Slow dashboard


    Is there currently an issue with the xbox dash board?

    I have an Xbox one X that is extremely slow/laggy when selecting things on the dash board. I have just purchased a brand new Xbox one X and it is exactly the same on both consoles. Internet is above average with low ping and is stable, connected by ethernet.

    Sorry, brother. My Xbox 1X runs slow sometimes. Especially in the Captures menu.

    **** is unacceptable.

    But everything on the X1 seems too slow.

    Since the new dashboard the sign in does take longer, mostly because your console will try to connect to LIVE before it actually signs you into your profile

    The time it takes to load your game list depends on how many purchases/downloads you have linked to your account, regardless of what's currently on your HDD... takes a good 2 or 3 mins to load mine.



    I only know this cos I spoke to MS about the problem a while back and they said there was nothing they could do about it.



    It all loads really quickly if I'm not connected to LIVE.



    So basically, want a fast loading dash? Don't buy/download stuff or don't connect to XBL... :-S

    This happened to me after my xbox turned it self off after being on for so long... i'm going to clear my HDD of old games see if that makes a difference
