Sling tv still not working!!

I would really like to try this app but every time I've tried to make an account it tells to try again later. even a simple time of when this will be fully up would be great. shouldn't have released it if it's not Going to work.

Yep. I'm having the same problem. Sling TV is working fine on my Roku which is hooked up via wifi. But it's crashing and freezing on the xb1, which is hooked up via Ethernet cable. It's not my connection and it's not Sling TV. It's either the app or the
xb1 that's the problem. I tried reinstalling the app and no difference. Netflix and other streaming services work fine.

No help from sling. I have the same problem and after talking with sling and trying to resolve (by uninstalling then reinstalling) they abruptly said that they are aware of the problem and are currently working on it.

 

Same thing here. Ive tried reinstalling several times, and even tried moving it between my External HD, and the Internal HD, and still get the same (Error Code 3-1) every time I boot it up. I know if that Error Code, which is "A problem has occurred during
player initialization", then I might as well not even try to Sign Up for a new account, because after I take all that time to enter an email address and password, the same error will pop again.

 

I too am having this problem. I tried to sign up, after I had already filled my credit card info then I get error code 3-1. I have done the same troubleshooting that you all did and nothing. I really hope I'm not signed up now and my free trial is just ticking
away.

 

I am in the same boat. Am sorta happy to hear that I am not the only one. Still very frustrating.

 

Sure be nice if they start testing before releasing any more stuff on Xbox. Getting tired of errors every where on the one. Can't really be the future of entertainment. When nothing works have the time.

 

Same trouble here. I've added my cc info in and no Sling TV... Someone needs to look into this issue now.

 

Same. Enter enter enter... Get error 2-204. And 201. Apple will fix this soon.

 

I'm getting the same (3-1) error code.

 

i tried going through the setup process 5 times and all failed. So I went to their website and tried to log in and it said my credit card info wasn't completed. So I completed it on my pc. And it works great now by just logging in with the ONE. However
by signing up on my PC rather than through my console I lost my free 30 days and only get 7 free day trial. Thanks Sling and MS for announcing a free a month that doesn't work.

 

Alrighty then, I too was suffering from the dreaded (3-1) error code. Here's what's needed to resolve the issue. Call Sling TV cust service, 888-893-9069 and wait patiently which was over 20 mins in my case. Let them know your issue, " I loaded the app,
couldn't finish, now nothing works.....", and they'll need to finish creating the account on their end. Yes, this will include payment info, address, ect,ect. Once this is finished, the app should function just fine. Well, at least it did for me.

 

I did what Maxx Nemisis said and called their customer support line and it worked. It's an extra step, but it's Saturday evening and I didn't have to wait at all. It took less than 10 minutes and I was good to go.
