Sling TV is out

I called sling and they fixed me up and it's working.

 

how, when I called they said they couldn't do anything

 

OK, all you need to do now is call Sling and they will set it up for you.

 

Did I see $20/month?? no thanks

 

Thanks to those that have already reported to call Sling.

I have had various errors, one after entering credit card and then installation. I deleted and re-installed. I also made sure to do a true power down on the console. I still had errors. I found that the account was created, even though it resulted in
an error. I called Sling, they had to delete the account and re-create it over the phone. It wasn't time consuming. Now I have TV!

If you're having errors, do yourself a favor and JUST CALL SLING.

Finally A&E, and a few other channels have been added to my area. I am going to drop my cable.

 

Yeah, I noticed that too. A&E, the History channel, AMC, etc. have all been added. That put a smile to my face.

Also, for the 1st time ever, I finally got to see the original Footloose with Kevin Bacon. I thought it was an awesome film and can see why many people consider it a classic. It dealt with some far more serious themes than I was expecting, which made it
an overall nice surprise. This was my 1st real treat with Sling TV and will probably keep it as a result. I don't get any cable or over-the-air channels on my bedroom's TV, so if I ever get my own console in there, this will be how I watch TV.

 

Does anyone know how to use the 3 month trial that came with xboxs sold over last few weeks?

 

Ooh, new XB1 owners get 3 months? Lucky! I had a nostalgia-filled evening watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2 this evening thanks to the Sling TV app. Ah, good times growing up with those films.
