Slighted out of my xbox live rewards

Okay so me and my brother from another mother hooked him up with an Xbox one. I've been playing Xbox since the original halo and the last system he had was like a 64. Any who as we hook him up about a week ago we see that Xbox live is offering a referral
reward. we're like awesome he gets half off his first subscription to Xbox live and I get 10 bucks so I can get that DLC I've been eying but couldn't justify my self to spend money on when I have like, adult bills to pay. but he deals mostly in cash so we
have to wait a few days until he can get a new debit card to link to his shiny new Xbox account. So I waited on referring him because I didn't know how the process works if there was a time limit or if he would be asked to enter a card right away. So yesterday
Friday he's got his new Card and we sit down to get him Xbox live. he links his card to his account and I boot to the home page to refer him... except there is no referral tile... I putts around the Xbox a while trying to find it with no luck, its just gone.
I look online, I check the Xbox rewards page, I try searching for it through the website... nothing.... its gone. I figure we missed out. wouldn't be the first time and wouldn't be the last time my s**t luck strikes again. (that's a funny). we decided we've
waited long enough so we run to the store and get him a 3month card, because he would rather use cash, and we can get a discount because I used to work there. Well lo and behold today I pop onto my Xbox and there it is the referral tile, smacking me in the
face like an ex girlfriend who suddenly loves a**l and I cant have any of dat sweet booty. It seams petty but I would really like my 10 Xbox live dollars just to that I didn't bring my friend into the Xbox clan when I should have sold my Xbox one and bought
a ps4. I contacted support and Van S. the representative I talked to "who is 101% man" (his words I hope he reads this. chat reference 1427609308) tells me that basically all I can do is whine to the user forums and pray that almighty Microsoft takes notice
of my plight. Here is my complaint I hope you find it amusing enough to get noticed by an admin.

Account Concerns

Hello, I have been a loyal customer since 2002 with the release of the original xbox. I was an xbox live user then under the name of Emonstar. The only break in service that I have had was during a military deployment where my account did not automatically
renew. After my return I changed my username to Napsterr which I have had since.

One of my issues is that my account does not accurately account for the time that I have been with xbox live. Secondly, I feel a bit slighted since the only reward for my time was an avatar clothing item. Other users who are long time supporters like me
received new xbox ones. Like I said before I feel a bit slighted in this regard and do no believe that I can continue renewing my membership and continuing my loyalty to a company that does not take care of their longest time supporters such as myself.

I think you may be talking about this offer - Get Xbox Live Gold for Just $1 which is not from the rewards program. You would need to post in the sales and promotions forum for assistance if that
is the case. Otherwise, since the rewards program is about to shut down, referral offers are no longer active.
