    skyrimelderscrolls/dragonborn dlc.....

    You read them to enter Mora's realm but getting rid of them, you can't...

    ... they are quest items even after completing the corresponding quest so unless you're on a PC with access to the console... they're stuck in your inventory for eternityyyyy...

    The crossbows are not in the Dragonborn DLC, but they are in the Dawnguard DLC.
