    Skyrim has an update from the disc that wont install, i have it digitally on game pass aswell. Everytime i try to update it keeps giving me the “installation stopped” pop up. The first time it popped up it told me that my disc was dirty or
    damaged and it is neither. I factory reset but kept my games and apps. I tried downloading it offline. Im at a loss and really dont want to delete all my save data    .

    This was all post December 2011 XBox live update too, Skyrim, was buggy but it worked fine even installed before the Xbox live update. The December 2011 update and Skyrim do not mix on my Xbox for some reason.

    "Unrecognisable Disc" (03-80-00) Problem

    Update again. Ran a DVD lens cleaner in XBOX now MW3 is installing and playing fine. WEIRD?! Will be trying Skyrim tomorrow, hopefully fixes my issues.

    Games will not install, update, or even be recognized.

    Update: my friend gave me his copy of skyrim on a disc to try. Magically it installed. But now i get the “for some reason *blank* took too long to start” error message. I get the same one when trying to start my digital copy of battlefield 3 and my disc
    copy of red dead redemption 2. Nothing plays, nothing works, nothing updates, nothing installs (except disc Skyrim i guess).
