Skyrim, to play or not to play, that is the question

Yes it is a fantastic game with several months of entertainment.

To prone or not to prone.. that is the question.

I used to play BF2MC...and never once have I thought "this game would be even better without prone"....the thought never even occurred to me.....snipers and laying down has just never bothered me....adapt and overcome right?

I don't mind it too much. You play Metro long enough and you notice the balanceing with prone. If you're shooting at a guy who is prone and majority of his hitboxes from the front are his head. Not to mention and his view is pretty restricted. The second
set of objectives before the final set pretty much forces you to prone as the objects and cover are pretty much designed to force you into prone.

While I believe it's a little too common...everyone just using it since its a new thing relative to BC 1 and 2. More than likely see less of it come MW3 release.

 

Asking if you should play Skyrim, is like asking if you should breathe air.

Be ready to kiss any social life you may have goodbye for a good month or two haha.

Definitely my #1 game last gen!

It literally never ends, and if it ever does there are many other characters,races and paths to choose from.

I still play it haha.

 

I waited a year before playing it and when I finally did I just couldn't believe how foolish I was, mate just do yourself a favour and play it.

Also I might add if you can get the legendary addition it has all the content, that was the only bonus of waiting.

 

Ummm yeah, one of the best games ever made. I've had so many epic moments in that game.

 

Even as someone who has a low opinion of the game, I think you should play.

Like all Bethesda games it can be buggy. Having tons of game saves can lock up the console for some reason also. Well that is what I have experienced. Other than that it is a great game to have fun and explore in.

 

The only negative is the amount of loading screens in the game.

 

Brandiesel your really reaching on that one lol. There is a lot of load screens but they are not long so I wouldn't even count that as a negative.

 

They didn't bother me at first, but after 100 hrs in I did get tired of them. I remember thinking they were annoying, but still, it's a great game that should not be missed.

[/quote]I could write paragraphs on why I think the games mediocre with how the time required to finished the guilds was pretty much cut in half compared to the other games, how the majority of the caves/"dungeons" end up being nearly the same (Hope you
like killing Draugr), how raising the difficultly doesn't really make the game harder it just adds artificial difficultly that requires you to hit the enemy 20 more times to kill it, how your accomplishments mean nothing and the story makes you feel rushed
compared to older Elder Scrolls games, the whole 15 voice actors and a few things post game that I wont spoil but a few people here might rage so hard they'll have a stroke.
