    Skyrim title screen issues


    So after the last update for Skyrim (digital) the game has severe issues trying to start, it takes forever to just move the cursor to any of the options, and twice as long to select anything. When I go offline the game works normally, does anyone know why? It used to work fine. I called Xbox support and did all the usual things, hard reset, factory reset, uninstall, reinstall, transferred to internal HDD, transferred back to External... nothing fixed it. I was told to contact Bethesda as it was the game itself. I was going to upgrade to the anniversary edition but not now. I was thinking that may be the issue, but I'm not taking that chance, I've already bought this game 3 times. This is really irritating

    Clearing Game Cache

    Jason, start Skyrim, and then hold down LB+RB+X while the game boots up until the title screen, then release. Hope that helps.

    Question about clearing cache

    I will give an example; Lets say I have Skyrim and Oblivion on my Xbox HD. When I clear the system cache I will be prompted to reinstall the latest updates for both Skyrim and Oblivion whenever I go to play each game.

    But, if I clear the game cache on Skyrim by holding RB, LB and X during the Skyrim title screen will I still be prompted to reinstall the updates for both Skyrim and Oblivion or did it only clear Skyrim's game cache by doing it that way and not the whole
    system?

    I'd have to agree that Skyrim sounds awesome 5.1. just sitting on the title screen with the theme playing sounds brill. Its the kinda theme that brings the hairs on the back of me neck to a stand, love it
