Skyrim Special Edition on Xbox1 Problem?

After yesterday's huge update, my game is suddenly crashing every few minutes. I'm at level 25, followed the dog into the Haemar's Shame cave. Disc is OK, no scratches. Tried reload to an earlier save but game crashes again in Haemar's Shame. My game appears
to be ruined. Anyone else having problems after the update?

Do I need a new TV? (Skyrim Special Edition and new Xbox One S

With the announcement of Skyrim special edition, this made me suddenly become obsessed with FINALLY upgrading to a 4k technology TV, and/OR getting an Xbox One S, so that I can experience the Special Edition to the fullest, but... Is it necessary?
I currently own a 55" Samsung 1080p HDTV and have just been enjoying my Xbox Day One edition, and games, on it. Skyrim special edition, Xbox One S, and project Scorpio are all in the works. As a strictly console player, where does everybody suggest I take
steps towards upgrading?

1.) Will Skyrim Special Edition look just as nice on a NON 4k TV (standard 1080p HDTV)?

2.) Would the HDR capabilities of the new Xbox One S impact the visuals of Skyrim Special Edition, thus, making it a good idea to buy and Xbox One S, for this experience?

3.) If I bought an Xbox One S mainly for the best possible visuals for Skyrim Special Edition.... Do I have to be using a 4k TV to see the HDR?

I'm having the same problem. None of my friends seem to be having issues tho.. Mine started in the Rebel Cairn cave..

 

I'm also having this issue, along with the frame rate. It is so stuttery while I walk and the animals are all glitchy. I'll be playing and it will also revert me back to the main menu. I don't know if it's the update or what, I had the frame issues before,
but now while i play it just send me back to the main menu. I sure hope bethesda fixes this quickly, I can't even play the game now wiht this new bug.

 

Had no problems with the game until the latest update. Now it keeps freezing and quitting to dashboard every few minutes. Started in Chillwind Depths, but now it happens randomly.

 

I have the same problem. Thought I was the only one, the game worked just fine before the update now it crashes down every time I play. Started in Riften, now it happens everywhere, hope they'll fix it

 

UPDATE on this problem! The good news: it's not your Xbox One. The bad news: it was the game update. After numerous crashes, I removed the Skyrim Sp Ed disc and inserted Fallout 4 disc. Played for hours, no freezes, no problems. Inserted Skyrim Sp Ed
disc, started a new game, have played for hours, am now at level 9 with no freezes, no problems. Apparently, the new update has a problem with our saves from before the update. It's bad news if you're weeks and weeks into the game!

 

Im having the same issue but not able to get passed the main menu. Deleted all mods to see if it helped but it just crashes when I choose new or continue. I hope they fix this issue soon.

 

Mine seems to play ok until I try and fast travel to a large city then it crashes. I hope they fix this soon.

 

Man, I was hoping it was an easy fix. Mine's been stuttering and crashing a bunch, too.

 

I'm having a similar problem where after I installed the update, it still says I have to install it even though I already did and it always says something went wrong. Support didn't help at all, I really hope they fix it...

 

Any progress on this? Love this game, and want to play it, but there's too much stuttering.

 

I re-set my MAC address. That worked. Stops all frame rate issues; game runs smoothly.
