Skyrim Special Edition crashes whenever I try to quicksave

Hello! Recently, I have been having issues with Skyrim crashing upon trying to save my progress (this includes normal saving, quicksaving, and autosaving. I have tried a variety of “solutions” I found online, but none of them seemed to work. Here is a list of what I have tried that hasn’t had success:

-deleting all my mods

-clearing “reserved space” in Games & Add-ons

-uninstalling/re-installing

-clearing old save files

-disabling autosave settings

The weird thing is, though, that saving worked for one of my saves but not the other. Could this be a corrupt save file? Or am I missing something obvious?

FYI, quicksaving over a previous quicksave will potentially corrupt the save file after some time. I was at lvl 91 when it happened to me, and it had just happened to a friend on PC days before. It's a bug that goes back to skyrim with quicksaving.

My workaround now is to delete all the save files (including, occasionally, the autosaves) except one (in case it crashes while it's saving), then save, then quicksave, then exit.

When I'm just running around for a while, I'll just make a new save until I have a bunch, then delete them.

None of this stops the crashing, btw. I suspect memory bugs, memory leaks, and potentially heat causing it, but there's no crash info, so we're at the mercy of almighty Microsda (Bethesoft?) waiting for a resolution.

It's not us, it's you, Microsoft. You own Bethesda now, so YOU contact them for a resolution. People pay you handsomely with the expectation that you'll identify and fix broken ****.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly perform a powercycle on your console to fix the issue.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If ever that will not work you may need to reset the console keeping games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I am from Brazil and face the same error, include with others game. I trying run Skyrim Special Edition and the same occur.

I'll probably get the standard edition tbh, cause whenever I rarely buy a special edition of anything, I regret it shortly after
