Skyrim Special EdItion crash

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly perform a powercycle on your console to fix the issue.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If ever that will not work you may need to reset the console keeping games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

That is for the wrong game I’m talking about Skyrim special edition not elder scrolls online

That's an interesting thought. I'm surprised they don't have a vanilla option when starting the game. I would be skeptical if they would do it, but at this point reaching out to the developer would probably be the only way to see that eventually happen.

On the Xbox One X you can manually manage a game's add-ons by pressing the Menu button while hovering over Skyrim in your games section. Then select "Manage games and add-ons" from the menu and in the next screen you should see the DLC on the left side under
the "Installed" area. You should be able to uninstall the ones you don't want to play and then install them later once you do want to play them from the same section.

Try that out and let us know if that helps!

It comes with the DLC so unless you buy a different version, there's no way to not load the DLC with the game. Sorry!
