Skyrim:se will not download off disc offline

i have deleted skyrim se after patch corrupted my save files (modded) and made it unable to save, so i deleted all game data, game and restarted the download offline. it wont go past 4.93 gb 21% and said i have damaged disc which isnt even remotely marked
my one s console is new, please help.

try going offline, power cycle your console then while offline, insert the disc and allow offline mode download (if its a disc install)

 

Console won't read Skyrim SE disc

Borrowed a copy of Skyrim SE for Xbox One and my console won't read the disc. Game has already been installed and is playing on a different console (both launch models). My console will read other discs just fine, although I haven't tried Blu-Ray because
I don't own any. Tried talking to Tech Support for help (obviously didn't get any) and they said either the disc isn't compatible with my console or to return the disc to make sure that's not the problem.

None of that makes sense to me considering 1. Both consoles are practically the same and 2. The disc works fine on another console.

Based off Google searches I can see I'm definitely not the only one with this problem, and I don't see anything getting fixed. Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
