Skyrim SE stuck on "Continue"

Hi,

As of this morning, I can no longer "Continue" my game in Skyrim SE on my XBox One Series S. The game is very slow at the menu screen and at the "Press Any Key" but will allow you to proceed to the "Continue" (the label fades out in a stuttered manner over around 10 seconds at which point "Continue" is fully visible). The label "Continue" can never be actioned although the rest of the XBox (i.e. the menus and game selector) remains responsive as usual.

Some things I have tried:

* Switching accounts

* Transferring to the internal SSD

* Deleting and reinstalling all of Skyrim except the game data

I am now trying on my XBox One S. As far as I am aware there are no mods. Any ideas? Is anyone also experiencing issues? I last played Skyrim a week ago.

I tried that but it didnt work, i think its probably something up with the game since they made it upgraded to the new xbox series x, im a playstation person so this skyrim thing has never happened to me honestly

still no answer for my incident from Bethesda

still no reaction from Microsoft, guess they don't know or don't care either.

If MS cares for customers, they would have removed the game from XBox store temporarly like Sony did with Cyberpunk for PS4 and forced Bethesda to go back to previous and running version <V1.22

The only fact is, this bug is related to connection to Bethesda servers, i.e. even before loading a saved game.

In worst case they corrupted or are in danger to corrupt the user account game settings or save games on their servers. That's the only reasonable assumption I could think of why this takes so long - or alternatively they simply don't care.

This is NOT the answer! The only acceptable answer is Bethesda fixing their game! All these workarounds to make the game work are well and good, but one really shouldn't have to, not in 2022. BGS is the only developer who continually keeps getting away with this s****. I want them to fix their freakin' game.

I can finally get in to the mods section as well as start or load a new game, but the menus are still heavily difunctionally, becoming unresponsive. Once a game is loaded, it runs like butter on my Series X though...
