    Skyrim: SE crashes after completing: Joining the Stormcloaks (no mods)


    My Skyrim: Special Edition keeps cr after I take the join the Stormcloaks. I don’t use mods (so it’s vanilla) and have 306 hours played (I know I play ro much) at the time of doing this. I am on Xbox Series X if this helps.

    While I’m at it, I also notices that the game crashes everytime and only when I fast travel to Orphan’s Tear (northwest from Solitude).

    If there’s no reasonable solution: Can I finish the game without choosing aside (on the off-chance that both sides crash the game)?

    Stormcloaks or the legion ? minor spoilers

    choosing the legion is best for tamriel as a whole. Choosing the stormcloaks is best for skyrim. I prefer the legion because the stormcloaks are racists but the stormcloak questline is more fun imo.

    Well , there are some missions where the target is in a fort (imperial/stormcloak) so the best way is complete that missions when the forts are occupied by bandits instead of imperial/stormcloak because if you are a imperial you will have problem if the
    target is in a stormcloak fort ..and viceversa but not a big deal at all because the objective is to kill the target or beat the imperial/stormcloak depending who you joined.

    • Fixed issue where Galmar would not complete Joining the Stormcloaks properly if “Season Unending” was an active quest
    • Fixed issue where starting “Season Unending” after finishing “Joining the Stormcloaks” would prevent “The Jagged Crown” from starting properly.
