skyrim screen tearing on xbox one x

hey everyone, I'm having odd issues and Bethesda support sent me here. so I just got an Xbox one x to replace my original Xbox one but on to the question.

So my issue is that when turning left or right the terrain stutters and it looks awful. going forwards or back does not cause this only turning side to side. another way this is easily visible that I use to test is spinning and if I look at tree's they usually
are not aligned near the top and snapback. this is a very weird issue and is annoying because I really would love to try Skyrim and when staying still its is stunning and running like a dream.

btw no mods are enabled

I am having a similar but much smaller issue on fallout 4 where if I turn the hud ghosts a bit.....not the end of the world but help is always appreciated.

tv is Samsung 4k 120 hertz in case that matters

Running at 120hz refresh rate seems to cause screen tearing with Bethesda games. You have to cap it at 60hz in order to turn on free syncing which should fix the screen tearing issues. PC seems to also have the issue at a higher refresh rate.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

I'd recommend getting all of the basic console troubleshooting out of the way, so please try the following steps.

While the Xbox is on, go ahead and do a
hard restart and power cycle to the console.
Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds or until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and wait 60 seconds before turning on the Xbox. Holding down the power
button on the console to force a shutdown is an important step.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a
soft factory reset.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the guide.
Scroll to the right and select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your Wi-Fi password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the
reset.

Let us know if you see any difference in game.

I actually could not get freesync to run.... my 4k tv is from 2016 and is not compatible but setting it to game mode seems to have sorted me out. you have saved me from another week of messing around so thank you very much for the quick help.

Microsoft pleaseeeeee fix the screen tearing of the games with any patched for the console xbox one .
