Skyrim Remaster on Xbox One

I know a lot of people on the forums usually look negatively on any "remasters" or "remakes" on the X1 at this point.

And in some cases I do too depending the game.

But this is actually one i'm quite surprised hasn't happened yet and would likely 100% buy haha.

Rebuilt and upgraded graphics plus all DLC and maybe a few new features and extras, i'd totally be down. Maybe even an option to upload our saves from 360 would be pretty cool too.

Would anyone else actually like to see this happen, or think possibly it
could happen?

Kinect skyrim

Only the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim supports Kinect.

Kinect functionality was dropped in the Xbox One remaster of Skyrim.

 

So what's everybody looking forward to for the rest of 2016?

Forza Horizon 3, Fifa 17, Skyrim remaster, Titanfall 2

 

Would anyone actually like to see this happen? Yes.

Could it possibly happen? Probably not.

 

If you play a game to death, and get your monies worth from it, why would you want to buy it again?

I just don't get it, plus if you want to play it, its easily available on a 360.

 

I'd rather they focused on TES; VI.

I'd take a new Elder Scrolls installment over a remake any day.

But I just really doubt we'll even see anything about the for years, at least not till after a new Fallout game most likely.

 

Hopefully they're focusing on Fallout 4. IF a Skyrim remake came along though I would buy it yeah.

 

Its about a 5 year cycle for Elder Scrolls, so a far bit to go yet.

 

I LOVE Skyrim but would way rather a new installment over a remake when it comes to TES. I shall wait patiently for it.

 

What I would love to happen would be a Mass Effect and Gears of War remake with the halo treatment but no bugs.

 

No, I don't want a remake.

I'm wondering with TES 6, if they'll take the DA:Inquisitions approach and have the entirety of Tamriel open to explore, but break it off into bunches so that each province requires its own load screen.

 

I'm going to go against the grain here, and say that I think we will see this happen. The film industry discovered years ago just how lucrative it can be to re-release movies that have been remastered and bundled into deluxe packages. With the release
of MCC, and the upcoming release of the remastered ME trilogy represents the opening of the floodgates. Most of the iconic games of the 360 era are going to get this treatment.

A lot of people like to say they wouldn't buy a remastered Skyrim, but I've seen what the game community is like. One sniff of better graphics and the inclusion of some innovative mods, and they'll drop $60 on it in a heartbeat. Dark Souls 2 is being re-released
in April of 2015, and I'm an active part of that community. Veterans have put anywhere from a few hundred to a thousand hours into that game, but most will do it again, simply because it allows them to start a new playthrough that actually brings some new
aspects to the table.

I say we'll get a Skyrim announcement sometime by the end of 2015.

 

If they did this, I want Oblivion and Skyrim as a bundle.
