Skyrim Legendary edition isn't recognised by Series X console

I totally understand, however, the game has its own version that can be played on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S and the 360 version game is not backward-compatible, even if we want to it is not designed to be played on the Xbox Series X|S console.

The point: I own the game (which Bethesda have said is fine to update to the latest version)

I just wish you would make the sensible decision here and not just throw proforma paragraphs at me. It doesn't work on me.

I apologize but the game is not a backward-compatible game. There is a different version for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S but the 360 version can't be played on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

All you have done is told me what i already realised. You have missed my point altogether.

I have a copy of the game that "should" allow me to be able to install the latest version.

That is what I want. As it stands I cannot play a game that i have the disk for and also cannot play the latest version.

At least all the big name games like Skyrim should be added to the backwards compatible list
