    Skyrim game pass ultimate on PC. Xbox1 controller missing actions.


    I’m on pc playing Skyrim se from game pass ultimate with xbox1 controller (3 centre buttons) and the D pad and L thumb stick miss out every other option on menus. IE u can choose magic or stamina but not health and in inventory u can’t choose weapons/potions or food only apparel scrolls and ingredients etc. Also the A button just will not work on the grindstone to level up weapons so i use the cheat room mod to compensate but would rather not. Played this on console years ago and it was great, but so disappointing now. Have tried another Xbox1 controller but same result. Anybody Please Help. Thanks

    Hi Jason G, Until I started Skyrim my controllers ( 1black 1white both from Microsoft) were fine. Problem only started when I started playing Skyrim. Deathloop/Sniper elite 5 and Assassins creed games all fine. However yesterday I installed Crysis 2 and the same thing happens (misses every other option in menus)

    Have updated both controllers although they were fully updated and reset them both.

    How do I check the settings for the controller of the game?

    Someone said it is a Steam problem because it thinks the thumbstick and Dpad is being pressed twice but I don’t know enough about my Pc to seek a fix.

    I did notice my controllers said 2016 when I was updating them and others on sale now say 2020. Are these newer models any different/better?
