Skyrim freezes...game or console?

    Skyrim freezes...game or console?


    Every time I try to complete Pieces of the Past and travel to Mehrunes Dagon on foot, everything freezes to the point that I have to get up and restart the entire 360. Wondering if this is an issue with the console or the game disc itself?

    Skyrim Freezing Constantly

    Ok so my Skyrim disc is very scratched and unfortunately I never downloaded it to my hard drive, so when ever I play Skyrim it will freeze about every 20-30 Minutes, I was just wondering if the Games on Demand version freezes as often as a new disc version
    or if it freezes less. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks!

    Thanks for that,it's not breaking the game for me and some performance mods that were recommended on other forums have really helped the micro stutters but the freezing is still there. Never had it with Skyrim though.

    So long as there's not a problem with my X's hard drive,which it what I was really worried about,then it's all good.

    If you can press the Xbox Guide button and it shows up, it's the game. Although, the game itself can freeze the console, and Skyrim is beyond crippled, and its save file grows every time it saves. That's why the PS3 version took forever to 'fix' because
    of the PS3's RAM management. It could possibly be your save file that's corrupted--something you can't really fix.

    I've had skyrim freeze on me before. I have the Downloaded version. I cleared my cache and it helped alot since it hasn't frozen since. pretty much a short term fix but it worked for me.

    I deleted the apps on facebook. My xbox still freeze.

    The console sometimes freezes at games like skyrim. But thats normal.

    If I press y, the pause screen freeze and the minecraft music stopps.

    hi. it might not be your Xbox and might just be Skyrim itself since Skyrim is such a large game it will freeze your xbox, it happens to a lot of people. try download Skyrim to your hard drive that might help it but like I said it happens a lot of people,
    download it to your hard drive it should clean up to freezing but occasionally it will freeze every now and then but it will rarely freeze. or just stop playing Skyrim it seems like Its is really the cause to your freezing on your xbox.

    Hmm, I never really noticed anything like that. Always thought it was my console's fault. Will this explain repetitive freezing in games (i.e Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas)?
