Skyrim - Bethesda Mods & Nexus Mods

So I'm planning to download Skyrim Special Edition from the Microsoft store. I already bought it on Xbox and I know a bit about modding. Because I'm downloading this to PC, does that mean I can use nexus mods or can I only use mods through Bethesda.net?

    :)

Skyrim - Bethesda Mods & Nexus Mods

    Hi,

Pretty sure it will be installed to the usual encrypted folder most other games install to, which means Nexus mods won't work.

    Accessing Nexus through Xbox

    Hi,

Sorry but Nexus Mods is PC only. There is no way to install any of the mods on that website on an Xbox One. Fallout 4 and Skyrim have their own mod options from Bethesda and these are the only options you have.

Besides, many of the higher end mods on Nexus (especially the graphics ones) wouldn't work on consoles anyway. And the many nudity mods would be a definite no.

Nexus Mods on Skyrim Special Edition for PC

Hi Bolski, my name is Oskayra. I am very happy to be able to answer your question.

According to the Nexus Mods website, you can use Nexus Mods in Skyrim Special Edition from the Microsoft Store on PC using the Vortex mod manager. Vortex is a free mod manager that allows you to install Nexus Mods into games running on the Microsoft Store.

To use Vortex with Skyrim Special Edition from the Microsoft Store, follow these steps:

    1. Download and install Vortex from the Nexus Mods website.

    2. Open Vortex and click the "Add Game" button.

    3. Select "Skyrim Special Edition" and click "Next".

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Vortex for Skyrim Special Edition.

Once you have Vortex set up, you can start installing mods from Nexus Mods. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Find the mod you want to install in the Vortex mod library.

    2. Click on the mod and then click on the "Install" button.

    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the mod.

Once you've installed a mod, you can turn it on or off in the Vortex mod menu.

Here are some tips for using Vortex with Skyrim Special Edition from the Microsoft Store:

Make sure your version of Skyrim Special Edition is updated to the latest version.

If you're having trouble installing a mod, check the mod's description page for help.

More information on how to use Vortex with Skyrim Special Edition can be found on the Nexus Mods website.

The link to the Nexus Mods website is: [https://www.nexusmods.com/](https://www.nexusmods.com/)

I hope my answer has been useful to you. If so, let me know and if you have any other problems, don't hesitate to contact me.

    best regards

    Mod load order for skyrim

    Hey there,

Because this has to do with a specific game, I think it might be better to ask the Skyrim Modding community or Bethesda Support. Some Resource Links:

    Mod support fallout 4

Yeah I think after the creation kit (think that's what it's called...er....maybe) is released to the mod makers, then mods will go through Bethesda.net. I have no idea how it'll work though, will Bethesda just pick and choose mods that have been released
on nexus and put them on Bethesda.net? I don't know.
