Skype - Video Calls no longer an option for my contacts

For the past few days, when I load Skype and select one of my contacts, the Video call option is no longer there. The Voice and Text options are there. My brother says that the same thing is happening on his end when he tries to call me. Anyone know if this
is a known problem? I am unable to find anything on this forum or the rest of the web.

Cant do anything with Skype

1 Boot up skype.

2 Click on a contact i wish to call. Note there is no option for video calling, just voice and add participants.

3 Click voice call.

4 For a split second I can see the connecting your call screen, but its straight back to the contact screen from point #2.

My friends have also told me that I appear unavailable. I am available.

 

Cant do anything with Skype

I cannot make voice, video or any contact on skype on Xbox One. My friends say that I appear as not available. Im available on my end, I haven't overlooked anything. If i try to make a voice call with someone ( i don't even have the option to video call
?) for a split second it says connecting to call then just reverts back to whatever I was previously on. Im thinking perhaps this is an issue with merging my skype and microsoft account. In order to do that , i need to sign out of skype on xbox one. So, How
do I sign out of skype on xbox one ? And apart from that, anyone have any idea whats going on here ? Thanks, Jamie

This is really strange. Did you have a chance to check if Kinect is connected and working on both sides?
