    Skype Problem


    Hello xboxers and xbox support.

    Today i purchased xbox one brand new and set it up and then i went for skype as it is my required app on xbox well after installing skype i tried to open skype it was loaded but while it was loading account and was trying to sign into my skype account linked
    with my microsoft account it disapeared. NO ERROR nothing else it just kept loading and then disappeared is there anyone can tell me how to fix this issue?

    Skype Problem

    Every time I join a Skype call with my friends I am unable to make the home menu come back up. You're basically stuck on on the app itself and unable to do anything. I can make the menu come up when you hold down the guide button, but when you go to report
    a problem, the app won't load at all and the "Something went wrong" menu comes up. I even tried going to oneguide using the remote but it won't launch either. I thought it was my Xbox bugging out at first but I did a hard reset and rejoined the Skype call
    and it happened again. FIX THIS ASAP!!! Skype is basically useless at this point if you're just STUCK on the app and unable to do anything.

    I'm having a similar issue. Just bought my Xbox one a few days ago and when trying to launch skype today, it goes full screen, has it's loading icon go around in a circle for a bit and then goes back to home.

    • Uninstall the Skype app from your Xbox One console.
    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the console fully powers down.
    • Navigate to the 'My Games and apps' tile and reinstall Skype from your 'Ready to install' list.
    Give that a shot and let us know how it goes!

    Hello!

    Hardware - Xbox One

    OS - Windows 10 | v. 10.0.10586.1024

    APP - Skype | Release date 2013.11.15

    Everything latest version (from official distribution) and belong to one company.

    As result it does not work together.

    I wasted 2h on skype helpdesk with mixed bot and human responses. I able to run skype after re-installing it (EACH TIME).

    Xbox call center does not work including call-back feature,

    Please, request this issue to Skype and/or Windows 10 dev team and share with people tracking number. A lot of users would to have Skype up and running and (I believe) will enjoy your test tasks.

    This is not an xbox one issue this is a skype app issue you do not need to hard reset your xbox ones this again is an skype app issue skype is having problems i called tec support and there aware of the problem. Again a skype app issue. Not an xbox one issue.
    Your xbox ones are fine
