Skype Premium features unusable

Since buying my Day One Ed Xbox, Skype Premium was activated for six months while setting up my Xbox. Well I have an issue with not being able to use any of those Skype Premium features because I already have a Skype subscription (Unlimited US & Canada 12
month).

I attempted to contact Skype support via the online form regarding this twice. However there's been no response so I'm posting about this issue here since this is directly related to the Xbox One. Perhaps one of you Xbox support members can help me resolve
this so I'm not just being robbed of my six months of Skype Premium.

Where is Skype for Kinect?

Well group video calling, is only available with Skype Premium & texts also use Skype Credits etc..

If it is anything like Skype for HDTV, that already uses a Kinect like camera.. You also pay a Subscription fee for some features, like voice calls too..

Xbox One and Skype lack of telling you you don't get Skype premium with GOLD

Turns out Skype Premium is no more. But I still got an email to renew my Skype Premium. Looks like the multi-video chat is part of the free Skype now.

The Skype for Xbox One offer providers you with Skype Premium for 6 months, which includes free group video calling and 100 minutes of world calling per month (for more information, see this FAQ:

support.skype.com/.../what-is-the-skype-for-xbox-one-offer).

Since you have an existing subscription, when you make a billable call, it will be deducted from the Xbox One offer of 100 minutes per month before eating into your other subscription.

If you are experiencing anything that is contrary to the above, then please get back in touch to let me know exactly what the problem is and I will endeavour to help.

To point out something, Skype is free on other platforms but.... If you wish to do Group Skype video calls that is now in a payed premium model of Skype. Now I believe the X1 Skype allows you to Skype Group vid calls as long as you have gold, which is also
for multiplayer and other things. So as I don't have Skype premium normally if I need to do this ill use the X1 and take advantage of that being included in my Multiplayer subscription.

[/quote]Another thing you could do, too, is when you install Skype, if you don't have a Skype ID, make 1, that way then any of your friedns that have it can do the same and at least from therer you should be able to video chat
with them because it's considered Skype to Skype. The only exception is once that time limit expires for Premium, the 30 days or however long they're giving us, you just wouldn't be able to do group video unless you can pay for Skype Premium.
