    since the last skype update whenever i video call i can hear the other person but they cant hear me. I use skpe on a weekly basis and have had to use my phone instead. Please get back to me this is the only reason i have a connect.

    People cannot hear me on Skype calls

    Have you tried turning the console completely off (hold button for 8 seconds to turn console off and not on standby)? If that doesn't work go to settings, then Kinect and see if you have it on chat. If you are using a headset, make sure it isn't muted.

    I found another person with a similar problem and one of the suggestions helped him. Link:

    People cannot hear me on Skype calls

    For some reason when I am on Skype the other caller cannot hear me. When I give the xbox a command it can hear me, and when I use skype on other devices the other caller can hear me. I dont know what's wrong. Is this an issue on my end or theirs. I know
    that sometimes whatever version of Skype the other person is running can cause problems but idk if that is the case here.

    This is a known issue and staff is working on fixing it. Please keep an eye out on this post for upcoming info, staff will verify their newly made posts in there so that you can see them right below the first post.

    The XBLPET had also made a post saying that they are aware and have included some tips which have worked for a small group of people but is not guaranteed to work. That particular post can be found here.
