Skype notification problem.

Sorry to hear about the Skype issues. If you haven't already, try Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Skype app. An extra thing you should try before you reinstall the
Skype app is to power cycle your Xbox console, which will clear your system cache. To power cycle, try the following steps:

• Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
• Once the Xbox One console is powered off, unplug the power cable and let the console sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the Xbox One console and power on.
• Install the Skype app and verify if the issue is resolved.

First: Skype Should be enabled in the Skype App & the Dashboard, to do that please follow the directions below!

Skype App:

1. First, Open the Skype Application.

2. Then press the Menu Button (The menu button has the large 'X' on it, not the blue one)

3. Select Settings, & then press the 'A' Button.

4. You should then select 'Notifications' - and make sure "Show All Notifications" is checked.

Dashboard:

1. Open the settings menu

2. Select Preferences, & then click 'A'

3. Make sure that "Show Skype Notifications" is checked

Please then Note that the presence for you & the person you want to Call, Message, & receive notifications from is set to "Available"

So (just so we're clear), you're saying that you have notifications for Skype in the Notifications app, but that you didn't see a toast for them when they arrived? And you weren't running Skype at the time the messages arrived?

G'day Penguin! Let's get this Skype stuff sorted out. =)

First off, Skype is not currently able to snap into the right column. You can snap other apps while talking on Skype though.

As for the notifications, let's make sure everything is enabled in your console's settings. From the Settings menu, select Preferences, and add a check mark to the Show Skype notifications option.

Are your call notifications not coming through at all, or have you only noticed this behavior in a particular app or game?
