Discus and support Skype not starting up throwing "0x8027025a" this error in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am not able to login to Skype lately from my XBOX One, I am getting "0x8027025a", I tried to reboot the XBOX changed the setting to Power Saving...     Skype not starting up throwing "0x8027025a" this error


    I am not able to login to Skype lately from my XBOX One, I am getting "0x8027025a", I tried

    1. to reboot the XBOX
    2. changed the setting to Power Saving Startup from Instant-On
    3. Tried uninstalling the App, it wont uninstall Skype from my XBOX, neither does it give any error message, that is weird to troubleshoot.
    Please help in this regards, it was really useful and convenient when I was able to Skype from my XBOX.

    Xb1 system updates

    I am losing faith here as well. I think after an update my game started throwing error 0x8027025a. Finally i gave up and restore to factory default now i can't event install game.

    I am having the same exact problem and error message. Have also tried the above steps to solve with no result. Called microsoft support and they weren't abel to help. If anyone has a solution please help.

    Im currently away for business and my wife is unable to Skype me because of this exact problem. Skype has been a POS lately, this is getting a little ridiculous.

    Any Support here or updates about whats going on?

    Hi all,

    Sorry about the trouble - regarding not being able to uninstall/reinstall Skype, please try restarting the console and uninstalling before you sign into your profile. If you have instant sign-in enabled, try disabling that before you restart, then uninstall,
    and see if Skype works as expected after signing in and reinstalling. Thanks!

    Hi, procedure from XB1R Dionysus worked for me. At least I was able to reinstall Skype and afterwards to start it. Hope it will be stable.

    Hi, procedure from XB1R Dionysus worked for me. At least I was able to reinstall Skype and afterwards to start it. Hope it will be stable.
