Skype not launching

Can you try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps?

And also I am very unhappy with this situation. We are being forced to "link" our Skype accounts with our msn/microsoft email accounts. Forced, then this happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to delete the app, restart the console and download the app again

Thanks for the reply but i already contacted them and they have pushed me aside claimed that its a Xbox issue as they checked my account and its fine, so now i will be contacting Xbox support. Here is what i have carried out so far to try and resolve the
issue which leads me to believe that there is a issue with my Microsoft account conflicting with my Xbox live account only happened once Microsoft linked my Skype account with my email account.

Skype on my Xbox one will work if i log in with another Xbox live account, i have removed my account from the console deleted the Skype app, reset the console, removed the console from my Microsoft account device list, then reset the console back to factory
selecting the option to delete games, apps and files on my console, then resigned in to my Xbox one reinstalled the Skype app and still it comes up with Skype is currently not available try again later, i then immediately signed in with another Xbox live account
on the console clicked on the Skype app and it opened up immediately no issues. So the issue lies within my Microsoft account, what i need to be done is that my Skype account be deleted without deleting my email/Microsoft account so as i can create a new Skype
account on my current email address this i believe will resolve my concern, i contacted Skype support yesterday they were no help they said it was a Xbox issue, they transfer me to Xbox support they tried to tell me its a Skype support issue in the end I'm
being stuffed about, i would appreciate it if you could put me on to someone at Skype support that will be able to delete my Skype account so as i can create a new one on my current email address/Microsoft account. deleting my address is not a option as i
will lose my Xbox live gamertag account with all my game history and achievements not to mention my followers.
