Skype is now snappable

Microsoft has finally add Skype to the list of apps that can be snapped. 53MB update for the app will allow you to chat more easily.

Agreed, an all-in-one snappable thingymajig like that would be pretty slick

Completely agree. Not just friends, but also achievements and messages being snappable would be brilliant.

 

Sweet I was just trying to do this over the weekend and it told me "Unsnappable" so this is good news.

 

I updated the app and tried to snap skype while playing titanfall and it understood the command but didn't do anything. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've been wondering about this ever since I saw it at last year's XB1 premiere but couldn't actually do it; glad to know it's finally here.

 

The next thing they need to do is fix the UI, its truly awful on the console. But snap is very welcome.

 

About time, needed this feature when people call me and I am in a intense battle online.

I'd recommend doing the hard-reboot 1st as it is a faster fix.

 

It would be interesting to have video chat with some friends on the side of the screen and playing a game like Forza (or Minecraft and Halo when they come out) on the screen as well. It will be kind of funny to see each others expressions while playing a
game, if it will work this way.
