    Skype calls keep dropping.


    Ok so for the past week or so my skype calls on xbone keep dropping every 2-10 mins. I have tried restarting the xbox, restarting skype, signing out then in, uninstalling skype and reinstalling it and i even contacted support which they had me clear a bunch
    of stuff, all to no avail. Its definitely xbox as i tried it on my laptop and skype stayed up, and my connection is fine. Its only skype that drops. Any ideas? Im on skype almost all day every day and its super annoying!!!!!

    anyone elses video function keep dropping mid call?

    growing increasingly frustrating as i know both my kinect and skype app are calibrated and upto date grr

    add to that cant get hold of any response from skype support

    Windows phone version of this app does not display correctly when in a skype call

    When you are in a skype call, skype has a permanent banner at the top of the screen showing that you are in a call. All apps adjust for this by dropping down below the skype banner so you can still access the menus of the other app.

    The xbox (beta) app does not do this. so you cannot tab to messages or friends list while on a skype call.

    Please fix it.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem with my Skype on Xbox one S. As soon as the other party picks up the call, the call is dropped by Xbox; similarly if the other party is calling, when I pick up, my Xbox drops the call immediately. Skype on my PC or iPhone/iPad are
    working fine. I have given a feedback through Xbox; but unfortunately no response. My setup is Xbox connected to a Sony Bravia TV connected through HDMI.

    Any suggestion to solve this problem is appreciated.

    Error on skype app

    Same happens to me. My Skype calls drop anytime my controller is disconnected whether I plug in the USB cord or my batteries run out.

    I agree, I use an HD PVR 2:Gaming edition, recording chat is a nightmare, Really dropped the ball on this one, of course there are alternative solutions, such as using a skype call and a few tweaks on your computer to record the skype call through the HD
    PVR 2 software. but it's rather annoying and only allows chat to be recorded of those in Skype itself. Then you have to rally people together into a skype call. That or use Kinect microphone only, which when plugged in forces audio through speakers on the
    XB1, but not everyone has a Kinect. Gotta admit pretty surprising how one simple little option can kill the recording.
