Skype Bug

I recently got the new update for skype on the xbox one. anyways I bring up the application and it says that Welcome to skype! is this your account? I then click the link that says yup, thats me and it just dashboards me to the home page. Ive tried multiple
ways to fix it but it doesnt work. hopefully you guys can fix this for me or give me an idea of how I can do that myself.

If you don't want people to hear you gaming, you have to that off in the kinect options screen.

But if you do that it also makes skype no longer have audio. This seems like a bug to me, since in skype you don't really see that happening, the mic mute button still works but has no effect. It was really confusing until we realized it was the other setting
overriding it all.

 

Cant do anything with Skype

Having the same issue. I am now convinced the Skype app needs a patch written as there is a bug. It worked for me on day one, now it tells me I am signed out of the Xbox account (which I am not) and has a Sign In button, which is inaccessible.

Xbox support: please relay this bug to the developers who work on Skype.

 

This can happen if your Kinect sensor is not plugged in on first launch until you have completed sign-in. Please connect your Kinect sensor at least until the app has launched successfully (though we, of course, recommend that you leave it connected )

So what about people with no kinect? Just had my time wasted for an hour getting the *** runaround quickfixes for nothing to work then get told to ask skype lol is that playstation i hear calling?
