Skype app login problem!!!

When i launch skype it tells me to sign in. When i sign in with my account the circle spins around for a few times and then logs me off... It started doing this today and i dont know what to do pls help!!!

Xbox One - Skype app crashes at start up

At the beginning, I was able to enter my Skype information for login, but once it started to boot up/launch, it would immediately crash back to the Home screen. Every time I try to run the Skype app, it makes the login in noise as if I am successfully logged
in, but the screen remains on the blue "Skype" page and then once it finishes making the login whirl-noise, it crashes back to home.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Not sure if this will help, but when I installed Skype, I was asked if I wanted to merge my Skype and XBL logins, have you done/tried that?

Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

This is not an xbox one issue this is a skype app issue you do not need to hard reset your xbox ones this again is an skype app issue skype is having problems i called tec support and there aware of the problem. Again a skype app issue. Not an xbox one issue.

Please make sure Kinect is connected and turned on. This must fix the issue.

A future update to Skype will address this.

I don't use Skype on Xbox One so not too sure about it, what I would of suggested, hard reset etc you have already done.

Having said that, when you turned the console off after holding the power button for 10 seconds, how long did you leave it before turning on again? I ask because it is advised you leave it for at least 30 seconds before powering back up, I've made the mistake
of turning it back on more or less straight away lol

Also and apologies if you've tried this already, some have better luck fixing problems that arise that after holding the button for 10 seconds they completely unplug the consoles power lead from back of console and leaving it for at least 5 minutes before
plugging it back in and powering up. Not sure why this is but I have seen it advised over on Xbox Support.
