    Skylanders Trap Team - No Sound


    I am having issues with Skylanders Trap team on Xbox one. Game was working as recently as this morning. Now, when I select the game with the disc in the console, I get no sound at all and the lights on the portal do not work. I checked the system and
    game audio settings and I believe they are correct. When the portal is plugged into the console without skylanders on, it lights up fine so I think my cabling is good.

    I am thinking I have a software issue but not sure how to fix other than to reload the software. Any ideas before i try a re-install? Thanks.

    Hello Forums,

    Game: Skylanders: Trap Team

    Problem: Game does not have the option to 'Pin to Home'

    Steps to reproduce:

    Xbox Home screen, select 'Games' on the top selections, tap 'My Games', hover over correct game, hit 'x' for game details and this brings you to the 'Overview'.



    Precedence: On my Battlefield 4 game this 'Overview' contains a button to 'Pin to Home', however on my Skylanders Trap Team there is no such button.



    Current Overview Options: Skylanders Trap Team: Only 2 options are 'Play Now' and 'Delete'

    Steps completed: The Game is downloaded to my Internal 250GB HD Drive. The CD is in the Tray. I have removed current Pins I have to ensure there isn't a 'Pin' limit. Restarted the Console.

    Microsoft: Please add the functionality to 'Pin to Home' to the Skylander's: Trap Team game can be pined to my XBOX Home Dashboard for my daughter to easily access.

    We had to cycle power (unplug from outlet) for a couple minutes and restart, which resolved the problem.

    I'm experiencing the same problem too. Here's what I do to fix the problem (until it shows up again).

    1. Shutdown the Xbox console (gracefully).

    2. Unplug the power cable from the console.

    3. Wait for a minute or two and re-plug the cable back into the console.

    4. Turn the Xbox console On.

    The above procedure works every time my kid faces the sound problem. Given that all other sounds outside of the game work fine, I tend to think this could a problem with the trap team portal/game itself.

    I would appreciate if Xbox experts/developers could provide a solution to this problem or at least point us in the right direction.

    I apologize but that will not be possible. As a workaround, you may need to check in any third-party retail store where you can buy a game code for the game so you can redeem it on your account.
