SkyDrive only shows picture and movies files, what about music?

Are audio files supported in Skydrive for Xbox one? I can't even see the folder 'Music'.

Why can't we yet see contents of USB flash drives and will there eventually be an app for such feature?

Just a shame MS made it more difficult on the One than the 360 to do things like play video and music from other devices, not to mention the party and chat features that are a step backwards. And what happened with Windows Media Center and what will replace
it?

For many people the 360 is just too robust to make sense out of purchasing the One. MS needs to differentiate the One from other machines and that's only going to happen when they make it more feature rich than the others/competitors. But you have to allow
for full access to customer's library of various digital mediums, provide cloud access to previously purchased games from Xbox and Xbox360 (even if through emulation), including movies, music, etc. and make it quick and visually stunning via a super smooth
UI. When that happens, it will be smooth sailing for MS.

Plex for XB1 - Beta coming soon

I just started using Plex and it is the best app on the Xbox One by far. I just deleted the Xbox Media Player app. Plex even scans the Metadata on your downloaded files and it has descriptions and pictures of all of your movies and TV shows. I have even have seasons of Bar Rescue and The Walking Dead and it shows their episode number, what the show is about and a picture showing a scene from that episode. It is easily worth $5 a month.

 

SkyDrive needs privacy settings so not everything in 'pictures' shows up on Xbox One!

As fas as I know the only way you can change what shows up on the Xbox One SkyDrive app is to make sure the folder type is not listed as "pictures" and instead listed as "documents".

However with the SkyDrive app for iOS, in order to use the camera backup feature, it automatically uploads to a 'camera upload' sub-folder in the 'pictures' folder whether you have one created or not. (It will create a new one) and so everything shows up
on the Xbox One Skydrive app.

Are there future plans to have this changed? As of right now I cannot use my camera backup feature on the SkyDrive app for iOS because my Xbox is at another house and I don't want the people living there looking up all my pictures before I find the time
to go in and copy/delete them.
