SKY +HD and Xbox One

Has anyone else or does anyone else have an issue whereby when changing channel either using the +/- program button or using the Sky interface or stopping/playing a recording the TV screen will go black for 2-3 seconds before saying "we have lost your TV
signal" then within 2 seconds the channel coming back sound and all.

While not a show stopper it is so frustrating and means that the preference is to not pass the TV through the Xbox (which is one of the reasons i bought it) I've tried:

Powering down and unplugging from wall

taking it out of instant on mode

changing HDMI cables

re seating HDMI cables

powering down the sky box

and finally... Shouting

Think your Xbox one console HDMI sky HD connect next TV HDMI ... but Xbox one have see TV press sky HD setup auto will work.

I'm lucky really i have a sky hd box still, even though i no longer pay a subscription and its just like having freeview now

 

I've being having this same issue for the last two to three weeks.

This morning the xbox was turned on and when trying to select the TV, it won't come on. We turn the xbox off and on again and the xbox symbol is constantly flashing.

It would be nice if someone at support replied to our messages, given the cost of the system.

 

I've had a similar issue. My XB1 is on instant on mode and it turns Sky on. It used to be that when it turned on the Sky feed would be ready and playing in the TV app. Now it shows as signal lost and can take a minute or so to recognise the input. It's the
same when I switch to TV from another app or game. I wonder if it's linked in any way to the HDCP issues people are reporting since the July update.

 

I'm having a similar issue, but also when I boot up the Xbox (from "full off" mode) there's no sound on the tv signal. All the menu sounds are present, and the only way to fix it is to put the Xbox in standby and reboot. This only started happening after
the July update.

 

I have the same issue, has anyone found an answer to this ? Is this the place to expect someone in charge to answer?

The issue is getting worse for me, now I occasionally get a HDCP error message from my Sky HD box when I try to watch TV. Nothing in my set up has changed and as far as I know the Sky HD box has not had a firmware update. The only thing that has changed
is the X1 firmware. It's getting to the point where I'm considering connecting my Sky HD directly, which is pretty annoying as I've got a media remote. So much for all in one entertainment!

 

And now sometimes when I do get a picture I don't get any sound. I've tried both instant on and power saving modes to no avail and although quitting the TV app sometimes works I shouldn't have to do it. I'm still convinced something changed in the July update
to do with HDCP and a problem with the handshake is the root cause.

 

Had the same problem gone through support done setting changes, lead changes, re installing still not resolved replaced the entire console and still having the problem. I have no idea how to resolve it and the support seem to have no idea either.. Would
really like some answers for the amount of money spent. It is extremely annoying.

 

Im currently having a similar issue.

When I say 'Xbox watch TV' from any xbox menu my TV goes black, as if its changing/reloading its HDMI input. After a few seconds the TV will come on, with a message in the top corner displaying the current HDMI input.

What used to happen is that my xbox would just effortlessly display the TV, without any delay/reloading of the screen.

Its super annoying.
