Sky go on xbox 360

Hi all,

I have an Xbox 360 and live account (not gold) I have been trying to download the sky app, we have sky go extra subscription.

I can see the sky app in apps on my console when I am not signed in, if gives me the option to download it and then asks me to sign into my live account, when I do this the option to download is gone and I am left with two options pin it or rate it.

if I log into the live account first and look for the sky app it's not there..... Just spent 30 minutes on phone with Microsoft who could not help......my device is registered to my account.

does xbox one have sky go ?

I only use my 360 for sky go i would of sold it by now if sky go was on ps4 but its not but i think now is the time to upgrade to xbox one but can anyone tell me if it has sky go so i can sell 360 to get extra games ect

Is sky going to be on xbox one i no you can plug you sky box in to it but say you have no sky i loved sky go(player) on my 360

Thanks for bringing question to the forums. You will need an Xbox live account if not sure if it is an online or offline account you can view how to

make account Xbox live account.

Thank you for keeping us updated! The article that XBF Brad A recommended,
Set Up and Use the Sky App, contains steps on how to download the application. Did those steps help install and launch the application? We recommend

removing the account that is having the issue with the application from the console. Once the account has been removed, we recommend downloading the account back to the Xbox 360. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

I have followed the above steps and it has NOT worked..... App is only there when I am not signed in?????? Disappears when signed in??????

Hello Kevin,

Have you tried signing in on the website itself Xbox.com then trying to get the app on there. You can try to remove and reinstall your profile. When you do this select profile only.
