Sky Go..... Another loss to PS4!

I've spoken to Sky customer services about this issue. They stated that there is definitely no plan to bring they Sky Go app out on the One. Now TV , which is just another pay app is due out shortly tho.

After doing a little digging it appears that Microsoft may have had a falling out with Sky over the name of their OneDrive. Which was originally meant to be called SkyDrive until Sky got involved.

I'm sure tho that eventually money will talk and if there is enough demand from One users Sky will produce an app. I'd suggest getting in touch with Sky through forums like this one and expressing an interest.

 

I reckon MS have refused to have sky on the X1 after sky sued them for having skydrive.

 

Have a look at the official Sky response to the question of Sky Go. Here's a direct quote.

" our main focus is on supporting tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices, as the majority of our 3m+ Sky Go customers can already access Sky content on their TV through their Sky+ HD box."

Yet they have just finished the app for the PS3 and PS4.

 

Sky Go was my most used app on 360 and I was gutted when I heard it wasn't coming to XB1

Reckon we will see it at some point though

 

I hope it comes to Xbox One, my Xbox 360 is on it's last legs.

Hopefully there is something announced after E3.
