    Hello Everybody,

    I want a Feature Called "Skip Update and play Offline' . When A Game has a Update, you need to insta the Update. no Update. no Playable.

    Please Microsoft add this Featue who you csn Skip the Update and Play without Updating the Game

    Are updates mandatory for Xbox One X?

    All updates are important. In order to continue, they need to be installed.
    I agree. But as other people stated you can skip them if your console is offline and you are playing only single player games.

    Regarding test 3, you performed the installation/update, it got to the part of rebooting but it does not power back on correct?

    Another question, are you able to skip the update and continue offline so we can get into the Settings app?

    Can you keep digital games in their day 1 update and play them so long as you don't update them?

    Yes but assuming you continue to play offline and the game is unable to update.

    You can't skip the update if you connect to Xbox Live. When you connect, the console will always want to update to the latest version of the game. The only way is to play offline, then the console wont download the update for the game you want to play.

    I don’t know if I’ve done something wrong but I downloaded the update onto a hardrive but it told me that 3 items were duplicate and I could either replace them or skip them so I skipped and continued the download. When I loaded up the troubleshoot menu on the Xbox and plugged in the hardrive it wouldn’t let me pick offline system update
