Skill mastery question from update...

On one of the load screens while playing skyrim on xbox 360 I saw it say master a skill and it will reset that skill to 15 and u can perk points from the perks u have chosen in that skill ? how does this work?

What banner are you using in the co-op?

LOL I think it's more a sign of I've got to play other games lol. So far, I've got Biotic Mastery, Tech Mastery, Halloween Challenge, N7 Day Alliance Challenge, Operation: Privateer, Opertaion: Prophecy, Resurgence Mastery, Rebellion Mastery, Earth Mastery,
Retaliation Mastery, Bloodpack Mastery, Machine Mastery, Assault Rifle Mastery, Sniper Rifle Mastery, SMG Mastery, Pistol Mastery, Combat Mastery and Reaper Mastery. I just want to unlock all the banners/complete the challenges once... then just play to cause
damage lol

Just unlocked Nomad from Map Mastery so I use that now.

 

Once you have a skill at 100 you will see the word Legendary under it. If you click on that you can reset the skill back to 15 and get all the skill points back to spend elsewhere. You should be careful about it though. If you haven't finished smithing everything
you want to smith you will have to work your way back up the tree. You don't get to keep the skills just because they are legendary. Also you can have a skill at 100 and never put any perks into it. On the other hand, if you are just dying to speed level then
I recommend Alteration as the fastest way to do it. There should be old threads here that explain it further or you can check the wiki. You can also reset perks once you have finished the Dragonborn DLC.

Personally, I only ever did it to raise my level to 80 so I could hunt a legendary dragon. Don't rush through your game. It's not a contest.

 

Used Alteration (Detect Life during the day in Solitude Market area) to speed level on one toon my kids and I play just to say we did it. We are 118 last I checked. Went pretty fast up to 105 or so but it's quite a slog now. Once your are leveled that high
and you get Alteration into the 80's it takes a while to jump up a point. Duct tape comes in handy.

Still it's far and away faster than just normal leveling. Use the mage stone, and as many Alteration buffs as you can wear if you plan to do this. ohh don't dual cast Detect life, it does nothing but drain your magika faster, one hand's as good as two here.

 

Detect Life with one hand and Telekinesis with the other is super-fast. Just make sure that you don't accidentally throw anything at the townsfolk.
