Skate 3 Series X enhancements

Hi Xbox,

So I’ve recently bought a series X. Loving it, the game pass is amazing and I was previously playing it on a 1080p lcd.

This isn’t good enough anymore so I invested in a OLED 4K 120hz LG C1.

Skate 3 is not fps boosting at all, I’ve checked all my video settings and everything else runs fine, gears ultimate edition runs 118hz, infinite 119hz, but I can’t for the life of me get Skate 3 to enhance. I do however, get the 4K textures……..but the game runs at 30hz/fps.

Am I missing anything? Also in the compatibility options everything is greyed out and unavailable for Skate 3.

Please help! I love Skate 3!!!! And 2!!!!!

Hello! This is the only game with the options greyed out.

Also forgot to mention, you know when you press the guide button and you should see fps boost and quick resume etc……the only one I see is quick resume.

I’ve reinstalled several times, tried installing from Game pass and also tried from marketplace as I bought it a few months ago

Weird! Try this steps to see if it helps!

1. Turn off your Xbox using the power button on the console.

2. Once your Xbox has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the console. Don't simply unplug the cord from the wall's electrical socket — it must be disconnected from your Xbox.

3. Wait for 5 minutes, and then reconnect the power cord to both the Xbox console and the electrical socket.

4. Let another minute pass. If you're using an original Xbox One (as opposed to an Xbox One S or One X), watch for a small white light to appear on the Xbox One's power brick (the rectangular part of the power cord). Once the white light turns orange, you can turn your Xbox One back on. If you're using an Xbox One S or One X, just wait out the minute and turn it on afterwards.

Hi there Josh welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Is this the only game that greys out the option? Have you tried uninstalling and installing Skate? It might be a glitch within the game itself!

I know that Series S can't use the XIX enhancements. I'm asking if the Series X
will be using the XIX Enhancements. Thank you for taking the time to respond however.

Yes, why wouldn't it be? Faster processor, graphics and more RAM (16 GB). I did already state in my previous reply that Series X will play X1X enhanced titles.

Digital Foundry (a popular YouTube tech channel) have shown a video of Gears 5 running on Series X.

Not only was Series X running the X1X Gears game, the developer has enhanced it again for Series X.
