anyone know the size of the hdd load in? just trying to figure how many games i have to delete.

Great connection, frequent disconnects

Hi all,

I am troubleshooting an xbox live connection issue I'm seeing while playing certain games. I started with a wireless network setup, but am reproducing the problem readily now with the xbox connected directly to the modem, so I'm confident this does not
concern the router or router settings.

I have a Toshiba PCX2600 cable modem, connected with a medium-sized cable (10-15ft I would guess). When the router was connected, I was getting speedtest results on my laptop of ~15Mbps down / ~1.5Mbps up.

Currently, I am only experiencing the issue playing Halo Reach, specifically when trying to play custom games with other players. I can play matchmaking with minimal issues, only actually dropping every now and then, but when I try to join a custom game
party, I seem to only ever last 1 or 2 games before dropping. Often I am dropped while transitioning between the lobby and game-start the very first game after joining a custom game party (please note I am not referring to an actual Xbox Live 'party'). The
in-game network checks show green (optimal) across the board.

Other game modes, other games, other forms of network connection (laptop, phone, etc.) do not seem to have similar problems.

What Country/State/Province do you live in? USA / VA

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? Connected

I have Halo Reach installed on the hard drive, and am running from that, so I assume that rules out the possibility of the problem being the game media (I have deleted and re-installed it, experiencing the connection problems both before and after). Is
that assumption correct? The next thing I want to try is a newer Xbox (I have one of the launch models). I will request a friend's help in this, but wanted to post here in the meantime. Any ideas?

Thoughts or reviews on new DLC?

A thorough playthrough will take you no more than 3 hours. The new "key" weapon is quite badass if you are decently leveled up once you start Legacy. There are a handful of new items, mainly necklaces, rings, belts that may replace your existing gear.


A brand new dungeon with a decently hard final boss fight and some new insights into the lore of the darkspawn/blight intertwined with the Tevinter Imperium. I enjoyed the return to DA2 as I hadn't played it in months, but for 800 points, it's a bit pricey.
And hey, it had no noticeable glitches, so I hope that's a sign of the quality level of the DLC we'll get in the future.

I just hope Bioware is/has been working on an Awakening-sized DLC that will be released by the end of this year. I'd like to spend more time in the DA2 universe exploring some fresh content.
