Six hours of activity, and already ''bricked''

That post have the transparent goal of venting some frustration.

I had rock bottom expectations for the X-One, and that was obviously way too much to ask in any case.

All I wanted was a console that could be used to watch PC videos on the TV-I spent hours plugging, replugging, unplugging, switching configurations, and even doing a clean reset on my PC in desperation for the *** thing to just recognize the console. Nope.

And when, using a laptop, I managed somehow to play an AVI file on the X-One, it played for 5 seconds before...bricking the console, that now refuse to start altogether. I had a very rocky experience with the 360, but that's truly the last straw.

The console is unplugged and back to a storage box-feel free to call me an idiiot and a ***. I'm sure you will do.

Activity feed stopped updating

I've found that the screen time under the Activity tab is completely unreliable. My son was online for several hours yesterday evening, but it shows zero time. But, when I logged on this morning, it shows that he'd been on over six
hours today, and it was only 8am!

YES! I can confirm that it's already avaiable on Xbox live and on EA Access, which I used those six hours already lol, now let's wait for tomorrow!

 

For the record, I don't wan't any ''help'' (which will boil down to ''you are stupid, I play it 20 hours a day and Stream six hundred millions files from my PC without any hitch'' and/or ''update drivers'' and/or ''it's easy, lulz'' : I spent 400 CSD on
a piece of plastic that worked for six hours, so I just want to state my satisfaction with this device.

I won't touch it again, you can be assured of it.

 

I'm either considering giving to goodwill or throwing in the chute.

 

I know you said you don't want help, but you should be able to return or exchange it, if you just bought it.

 

It was bought two weeks ago, and clocked six hours of use. And Best Buy refuse to take it back.

Regarding getting a console replaced, as far as I know there is at least a 1 year warranty by Microsoft.

Which means that you will be able to have it repaired/replaced withing the warranty period for free.

If you bought it from best buy on or after November first they have to take it back holiday return policy same happen to my xbox I got from them back in October It was the forza one and would not start after playing 2 hours and you can tell them that your
