    You'd think Microsoft would advise of this problem when selling the game..Seems a bit underhanded.

    No idea why they shut it down, its a great game..

    If those don't work then you'd need to follow the steps in the previous post where it says "Visit this page here". They lead you to the Microsoft Account Recovery site with a form you'd need to fill out. That's the only other options I can personally think
    of if you've tried everything in the exact order it was posted in above.
