    sir/maam? i just purchased my free trial gold membership.. but its not displaying it. what should i do. i do have put all my billing info. and its ok. but still it does not activated. please help

    i tried to purchase the gold membership through my sons xbox but it wouldnt let me so i activated the free 7 day trial, but after coming on my laptop i purchased the gold membership and now when my son tries to play fifa 11 against his friends it says the
    gamer profile doesnt permit it. how do i get rid of the 7 day trial when he now has gold membership?

    12 month membership code redemption problem

    Just bought x box for my son, he got one month free gold membership with it, purchased 12 month gold membership in Sainsbury's this morning, he entered redeem code but its not showing up in account history or transaction history yet,

    Was it a 1month trial or a 48 hour or 2week trial

    If one month then delete the online profile from your console and clear system cache

    I'm assuming it was a 48hour trial or two week trial since you have a custom name unless this isn't the account in question

    With 48hour or two week trial they don't change your status to gold nor do they give you full Xbox gold options

    It on ly gives temporary multiplayer access

    To add only to the games you got the codes with also

    Destiny nor games for gold does not work without actual gold

    The exact same has happened to me, it was sorted straight away though. All you need to do is follow this link:
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us click "Billing" then click "Other" at the bottom of "XBOX LIVE MEMBERSHIP" then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "CHAT WITH MICROSOFT SUPPORT"
    you'll be able to chat with them and that'll put you through to the Billing department - provide them your Gamertag, issues your having with the activation of the 1 month free trial and that it is not displaying on your console.

    They will usually just remove the free one month trial and then send a one month token, or at least - thats what they did with me after doing some steps with me.

    Do you have a gold membership?

    You need a gold membership to download and play this game.

    You gamertag is displayed on the forums with silver characters. This suggests you have a free membership or possibly a trial membership which doesn't really count as gold.

    Its a trial not a membership. You have to purchase gold membership to get all the benefits.
