Single player solution while Live is down

I, like most of you, was mad that I couldn't seem to access my single player games while Live is down, but I found a really simple solution that at least lets me continue my single player campaign of GTA 5. It should work for most, if not all, single player
games, but it might not work if you're trying to set up the Xbox for the first time.

Go to settings>network, then select go offline. Then you should be able to sign in at that point without problems to access any offline features.

It's simple, but since I haven't seen anyone else point it out, I thought I should!

Multiplayer constant invites

Solution 1: Hold down the large X button on the middle of your controller. A menu will pop up. Choose the second option.

Solution 2: Play single player

Solution 3: Mute your TV

 

Disconnection from xbox LIVE when idle.

Ok, this problem has been around forever and everyone has had it. So I'll just get to the point.

When I'm playing single-player mode in a game OR when I'm idle in the dashboard(or in single-player) I get disconnected from xbox LIVE.

However, I've found out that when I play single-player while downloading an item from the marketplace this problem seems to begone.

Can anyone please reply with a solution?

 

I had a thread about it but it doesn't work on all games sadly. I couldn't log in but my wife could from the same console after doing that so Unity wouldn't work nor dragon age inquisition. Thanks for keeping it front page though
