Singapore Xbox in China?

I've been living in China for years now and i wanted to buy an Xbox 360 When i return to Singapore (It's a legit console) so is there anything to look out for?

I'll need to know:

1.Will i have to purchase anything for the xbox to work?

2.Will xbox live work?

(Also, The games comes with the console)

Xbox Gold Membership

A question related to the XBOX 360s. I got one here in Singapore.

My Billing address is USA.

I have a 12 months XBOX live Gold Subscription card, from Singapore.

Will it work?

I am in Singapore right now and the XBOX's locale is Singapore.

In Short:

XBOX live account: USA

XBOX live Card: Singapore.

XBOX Console locale: Singapore.

Are they compatible?

 

You shouldn't have any problems with a console bought in Singapore yet you should keep in mind that China isn't included in the xbox live service for the moment.

 

Can i like connect to like Singapore for xbox live? Or i'll just have to wait to see if China has xbox live when xbox one launches in September?

 

You can connect at xbox live yet you can't receive support for the moment until the eventual launch of the xbox live service in China.

 

So will can i play multiplayer or i can only play singleplayer?

 

Theoretically you can use xbox live service and join multiplayer games even in China (if you pay for gold membership of course) yet as I warn you before China is not included in countries supported by xbox live service and for any eventual problem you cannot
receive for the moment until the eventual launch of the xbox live service in China.

So in china, they don't have the "Xbox live gold" in china to buy?

Yes you can yet there is no guarantee involved as long as China is not included in xbox live support

 

So as long as i don't buy any games/xbox live gold membership cards in China i will be good to go?

 

It's not recommended to create an account that does not match the region you live in (and is actually a violation of the terms of service and can risk banning). Because you live in a region that is not supported by Live, you will have issues downloading
content because it won't be available in your region.
