Since the Hack Attacks, Everything Freezes!!!

I've been reading through the forums to see if anyone else is having the same problems as I am. I've had my Xbox One for over a year now & it has been working properly up until this point & I do believe that it has everything to do with the recent
DDoS attacks that occured on Christmas Day. I've been trying to play COD:AW multiplayer with my cousin & sometimes I am able to join him then other times I get kicked. His console is working fine because when a map is finished loading, he is in the game playing
while I'm still looking at the loading screen waiting to spawn...sometimes I don't spawn at all! It either kicks me or it freezes causing me to hit the Home button on the controller to "Quit" the running game. And sometimes when I try to do that, it freezes
on the Home screen causing me to have to reboot the console! My internet connection is good so I know it's not that, my NAT is Open. I've read the forums & troubleshoot guides about rebooting...hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds until it powers
off, unplug the power cord for 5 minutes, plug cord back in, turn on Xbox...blah, blah, blah!

Now, when I turn the console back on...sometimes it will stay on the green "Xbox One" loading screen forever! Longer than 10 minutes for sure. The stupid hack attacks have created chaos for my console! I want it to stop! Why hasn't Xbox made a patch/system
update for this yet?!? My patience is wearing thin...

I don't think that buying a new Xbox One is gonna solve the problem...for starters, I don't have the money to just go buy a new one. lol. Shouldn't have to! Plus, the price of the Xbox One is going back up?!? Why?? Xbox hasn't fixed the hack issues
yet!! The price should be lowered again if you ask me!

I just want to get back to gaming with my family if you don't mind, ok Xbox? Y'all hear me out there?!? FIX IT!!!

Anyone else having this problem?

Can't connect to XBOX Live

Unlikely, since a DDoS is just a denial of service attack, rather than an actual hack attempt.

 

I hate hackers.

Technically DDoS attacks are not hacking since they aren't getting any info from the companies. They are just disrupting services. More of an annoyance.

 

First it wasn't a "hack" it was a DDoS which is just flooding servers with information to cause them to crash, your system couldn't have been affected at all. You may want to try and re-install CoD and start there, if that doesn't work call MS or what I
would do is just perform a factory reset of your Xbox and start over (means downloading everything again but sometimes a fresh start is best, been that way for computers since the advent of home OS')
