    Since Latest Update, Live TV via U-Verse is Tricky


    As has been reported before, U-Verse DVR support is tricky on Xbox One, especially if you accidentally switch to a non-HD channel.

    Over the last few days, since the latest update, Watch TV almost always starts with a blank screen. I can get it to show up if I hit OK on the remote (to wake up the DVR), then hit Exit (to get to Live TV), and then if I change the channel, it will usually
    come back about 30 seconds later.

    After doing some research I found this thread on the official AT&T site: U-verse app on Xbox One

    While this is bad news, I hope this help explain why the app is no longer working.

    I'm having the exact same issue. It is insanely annoying. I'm going to have to give up on the xbox soon.

    I need your input for best ISP to go with

    I just got AT&T U-Verse and I'm loving it. No issues with Xbox Live on their ISP, at least for me. I plugged my console via Ethernet cable into my U-Verse cable box and it actually works a lot better than using the wireless adaptor I'd been using for years.

    On or after May 30, 2017, the Uverse.com site may be retired and no longer available for video streaming. Additionally, on or after May 30, 2017, the U-verse app may be unavailable on the XBox One and Windows mobile operating systems as well. Customers
    will still be able to stream via the U-verse mobile app on all other supported platforms. More information will be available at Uverse.com.
    While this is bad news, I hope this help explain why the app is no longer working.

    Are you connecting via wifi or Ethernet?

    Have you tried bypassing your router with an Ethernet cable to your modem?

    Is your ISP AT&T U-verse? There have been issues reported in the last couple days with U-Verse.
