Since insider update I have been unable to use my console

I downloaded an update for the insider programme earlier in the year. I had not problems at the time of the update, but I have been unable to use my console since.

Whenever I power up the console it loads to the dashboard but that is a far as I can go. I am able to select items on the dashboard but when I try to enter anything the screen fades and the console becomes unresponsive. After 5-10 minutes it will state there
was an error trying to access what I have selected.

I have contacted Xbox support who advised installing a previous version via memory stick and this has had no effect. I have also attempted a factory reset which has not resolved the issue.

I have contact Xbox support today who advised that I should post my problem here as it could be related to the insider update.

I really need some help as I've been unable to play on my console for 3 months now.

April Update Beta Issues

Since the March update I have been unable to record with Game DVR. But since getting the April preview I am unable to use Game DVR at all. I have done all suggested methods to resolve this but nothing has worked.

Can't Play. Error: 0xc00d11cd (0x80004005)

I just got this error recently and since, I have been unable to play music via clicking to play in the app. I can bypass this however by selecting a song in "my computer." When I do this, I am unable to pause, play or do anything inside the app. I must close
the app to stop the song from playing. Has anyone else been having this problem? YEs, I have installed recent updates and yes I have uninstalled/installed the app.

You'll actually want to post in the
Xbox One Insider Program Forums for the best information and assistance. Since updates are still in the early stages, things may not work correctly at times as it is a Beta. So they'll have the best insight and be able to troubleshoot any potential issues.
If you want to opt out of the Insider Program, you can do so from the Insider App on the console. Keep in mind thought that doing so, may cause your console to factory reset and any games and apps will need to be reinstalled to the console.

Set the console to instant on. Updates will typically run when you're not using the console and you will never notice them. I've been in the Insider program since it started and never notice updates.

Also, you're not forced to be constantly connected. You can set your console to offline.

Since there hasn't been a public update released in July, I am presuming you're in the Insiders Program. As such, you'll need to report the bug using the "Report a problem" feature on your console, or at the Insiders subreddit at /r/xboxinsiders … they will
help you figure out what has gone wrong.
