    Since i changed my xbox one region to belgium i no longer have access to the add on part of the xbox live store call of duty ghosts dlc. I cannot buy the season pass nor can i access the ingame store... I only get: an error has occurred... Help?

    Microsoft points wrong region

    I live in Belgium and my xbox region is Netherland i changed it because in Belgium you can only

    download French games not Dutch or English like fable 3 it's French not dutch or English. So i bought microsoft points but the

    region of the points is Belgium and now i can't use it :'( and i need to wait 3 months to change my region again.

    What can i do can someone help me?

    Dear Members,

    Something strange just happened to me yesterday. I needed some money on my microsoft account to buy a game on the marketplace. So I bought a gift card on a dutch website and got the voucher code on my mail. So I went to xbox.com logged in and redeemed my
    code. I thought everything went fine so I went back on my xbox and tried to buy the game but the money was nowhere to be found. I went to Commerce.Microsoft.com to find out where mu money went. To
    my surprise, I saw that I had a Dutch and Belgium personal account and my money went to my new Belgium account.

    For me this was new, I never knew that giftcards had region codes within the EU. So I went online and started chatting with a xbox support employee and she told me this:

    Thank you for waiting. What happen is your account region is in NETHERLANDS/ Since

    the code was purchased in BELGIUM, or uses a BELGIUM region, it generates a Belgium

    personal account or it was redeemed on your Belgium account because codes are region based. As

    much as I would love to transfer the MS money, we can't do that or have access to do that. The

    normal procedure that we do here, is either you change your region to Belgium or change yopur

    console locale to Belgium for you to be able to use the MS money. As long as the item that you

    will purchased is available on both regions, this shouldn't cost any issue whether you use the

    Belgium or Netherlands account to purchase the item it should work.

    Okay no big problem I thought, just change my region on xbox, buy the game and change it back. Well not really. What she didn't say was that you can only change your region once every 3 months but that still ins't a big deal. I'll become a Belgium for 3
    months and than change back. But after doing so, I still couldn't buy anything on the marketplace I'm getting an region code error every time I trie to download a game.

    I tried everything to fix this problem. I changed my billing adres into a Belgium billing adres (I just took a random adres in Antwerpen). I changed everything from "Netherlands" to "Belgium", I even changed my mail settings (which I use for my xbox account)
    to Belgium but nothing works.

    So I hope somebody can clear all this up and help me figure out how I can use my money on my account.

    P.s. Sorry for the long post.

    I have same situation, after I chance region to Finland. I could not access to the Store, I only got screen message "error has occurred". I make region chance 5.9.

    We try already reset the Xbox One and uninstall and re-install The Ghost. This did not help situation.

    I'm still looking solution in order to continue gaming with a new Ghost DLC map packed. Those are only accessible via Store.

  6. I also have this problem, but have called to xbox ( microsoft ) en there is a problem with the region Netherlands and Belgium, and they will look in to it, and I think we will get a update from microsoft xbox, and hopefully that will fix our problem with
    ghosts and the store, this is not a problem from the gan ghosts or activision, but a problem in xbox store ( microsoft )

  7. I have the same problem and so have many dutch and belgium gamerz. can't get into the dutch store and download the map packs. because if you install ghost you wont find them any were. only if you deleting everthing like account/ advanced mac adress/restore
    factory/ and then reboot afther taking the power off for 30 seconds. then boot up with power and opentray and the same time(clearing cache).

    then add account go to store then u find the mappacks and you can install them but afther installing game you wont beable to go to store and add more addons because the error is back then.

    I have tried to speak to Activision but they answer with stupid questions like did you reboot did u imported the box then the game need to been the same region. this kind of questions i got afther explaning everything first. So xbox support what u gonna
    do for US.

    I had the same, it couldn't be redeemed in my country (Belgium). After changing the region settings it accepted the code and I was able to change it back to my original country
